You neglected to mention that a Central Park was designed to be seen from the back of a horse drawn carriage, so getting the OG conveyance is certainly worth the $$$, to fulfill Olmsted’s vision for his landscape experience Plus, the cost of maintaining a horse in Manhattan should be considered: the horse deserves to be paid well for his work! (A CitiBike on a day pass can only be checked out for 30 minutes at a time before incurring steep fees for overages, so it’s a TERRIBLE way to see the park If you’re going to insist on biking - probably the most dangerous thing you can do in Central Park - rent from the Central Park concessionaire) Comment from : @thedrafthorse
