Thanks for the tip but I prefer to leave everything on default to have maximum performance when playing in some cpu intensive games you lose quite a bit of performance without turbo boost I paid €1160 and would like to have the maximum possible cpu performancebrbrlaptop is as loud as an F35 fighter jet but I play with headphones anyway

I have a better trick Download Intel Extreme Tuning Utility Go Advanced settings and decrease Turbo Boost wattage So you don't lose too much speed by disabling Turbo boost completely You are just limiting the Turbo boost capabilities

It's not about the maximum possible speed, it's about the "average" speed, guys don't fall to marketing schemes, if the pc can't handle the max it may run worse/slower than a pc that has a lower max but better "average"brbrAnd remember, if the "average" speed is the same, you don't want random spikes of performance, you want a line that's as "flat" as possible for better, consistent and smooth user experience

When I left my laptop closed It was still active and I don’t remember when I left but probably an hour ago and it was like 93 degree It got me to think that why is it on??brbrEdit: oh and it’s like iron on my bed making looks like no wrinklesbrbrEdit: I just found out that the charger port I’m using was broken and realise it creates a lot of voltage in one place making frying the charger and the laptop

Ah put new thermal paste you just deactivated the oc but if your base clock is above 3ghz it will heat up dismount the back plate and make as many holes as you can put a cooling chiller and fan 😉
