I had seen on TV that they had a good 3-D scan of the "forest" of rafters and roof supports in the attic space It’s very interesting to learn about the man behind one of those mappings I don’t know if his was the rendering I saw on TV, but this information is the most valuable knowledge we have about the construction of the cathedralbrbrWe were in Paris just a couple of years before the fire and we spent an entire day at Notre Dame, exploring inside and out and photographing everything from every angle we could get I must have 3000-4000 images from that day That building is phenomenal I’m glad they’re committed to restoring it exactly as it was Comment from : David G Austin |
