I ‘ve been doing 50 pull ups, 50 chin ups, and 70 push ups since january 1 Lets see if its works But i’ve been increasing every time i feel i can do more I’m 30 and i feel i need to make a better version of myself

When I was younger I always had back pain When I was 23 I was 160 pounds and went to prison and I started working out At first I couldn't even do one pull up , so I started with weighted pulldowns and worked my way past my body weight After about 3 months I was able to get on the pull-up bar and do 10 sets of 10 after 2 years I could do 46 after 7 or 8 years I hit my record of 58 And I have not had back pain since , I really started I believe , I also I have better posture Also since I've been working out I have gained 35 lb and my body fat I just went down

I don't go to the gym or workout Just do pushups and pullups every day I remember some months back hardly did 25reps pushups a set and 5reps pullups in a single set I'm not doing it regularly just 2-5x a week Now I can do about 50-70reps pushups and 15-20reps pullups in a single set I've seen a lot of improvements in my body from getting a good shape My biceps and triceps are getting more visible along with improvements in wings shoulders and chest getting bigger and better brbrAnyone watching this comment I want you to know that you don't need to go the gym Just take a moment do some pushups and find a ledge or something to hang onto and do some pullups if you can't find a bar You'll see the improvements in a while :)

I do 5- 8 sets of pullups a day 5 times a week 10-20 reps per set More often than not i superset it with dips, pushups, barbell squats, crunches Pullups are a great workout I remember years ago i couldn't do a single 1 and would just hang , now i can do 25-30 in a row

I only do 54 pull ups a week with 27 being on Tuesday and Thursday I can almost do 10 pull ups every time I just need a bit more time Anyways my schedule got weird and I did my pull ups yesterday but I saw a pull bar at my school gym so I did my usual 27 and ig when I went home I did a one arm assisted pull up but now it’s 12 and I’m so sore like it was hard to lift my phone kinda so I advise to be very careful when doing pull ups daily because I feel like it really takes a tole on you if you’re not used to it brI’m 14 if that matters

I did 3x12 pull ups at a time, 3 times a week for 2 weeks and my vein had a blood clot due to over exertion i think Now i have switched to twice a week and can barely do 6 at a time and my whole arm now is not as strong as before and i cant lift as much as before Its been a month now but I’m still stuck at the same weight i was lifting before

I use pull ups in my work out but not everyday, just twice to 3 times a week with back or bicep training, muscle needs time to recover and grows in the recovery phase I guess every day is ok depending on your goals but I fear it would slow my gains due to the lack of recovery time

the pull up doesnt really work the tris or the shoulders, theyre in the negative so theh are used somewhat but its primarily your lats biceps and back and sometimes the rear delt if youre more leaned backed

Not a good explaination of techniquetrizeps are not really worked (longhead maybe a bit but no one does Pullups for triz) , only the rear part of your shoulders gets trained not all of it, and Pullups are not the exercises that work the most muscles

I have a weekly pull up workout, i strongly believe in the benefits of pull ups but daily isnt the way if ypu ask me, also push up variations, kettlebell workouts, a hefty leg day, bench workouts, multiple self defence such as krav maga and some cardio workouts should have a place in a workout schedule For relaxation I prefer massages, bike rides and some time at the range but thats to anyones own perferences off course

I guess everyone is a pro so let me correct some of these misinformed commentsbrShoulder width to slightly past is best range for lat growth(best range of motion )brFeet behind the back or arch back pullups will work the most lats Feet in front or(hollow body) will work the most upper back and the core Far grip is a waste in comparison , unless you are competing in a rep in competition I hope that fixes some of the more misinformed comments about pullups
