Key words he said “start sabotaging the relationship” no one normal sabatoges there own relationship They clearly ask for time away or change the status to seeing each other but not exclusive Giving the other person a decision if they want to remain in that kind of relationship Normal people that actually have respect for other peoples feelings especially someone that has cared about them do not want to see people hurt So they don’t do things to deliberately to sabotage there relation with that person That’s childish and mean and selfish Also it causes emotionally pain to other person When he says they sabotage he means they start finding another person so when they discard you they are in another fake relationship Just to repeat it all over again I do not think narcissist understand the pain they cause and so there fourth how can they give advice There perception of love and relationships are twisted and I just don’t think they even feel heartfelt love empathy or emotion for other people It’s like an attention rush being with another person until it’s not

It’s hard to compare what different people actually feel but when I am in love it is a very selfless feeling Yes, I am excited, I want to be around them and their presence makes me happy, however, if they tell me they don’t want to be with me I will fully accept their wishes because their needs come before mine I feel like many narcissists go into a stalker like state of not wanting to accept that they cannot get what they want from that person They seem to see them more as an object they want to possess and control and not like a person who they treasure in all their complexity and want to do well in every area of life There was a guy when I was a teenager and I legit thought to myself I would throw myself in front of a car for this dude, I would give him all my organs if he needed them, I would even be happy for him if he had a family with another woman, I would love on his children even if they weren’t mine, I just wanted him to be happy and healthy He did not love me back and so I left him alone, never contacted him ever again because he didn’t seem to want my company, but I still hope he is doing well I don’t know if narcissists feel love in this way, I doubt it

Here's my questionif a narcissist can love another person despite having a strong/intense desire to be selfish and consider only their feelings in the relationship bc that's what I'm understanding from what I've been researching Is it possible for a neurotypical or someone who's not NPD to prevent them from ever feeling that way or is it just something a narcissist has to come to terms with on their own?
