I can relate to this on so many levels As a therapist and black sheep of the family my mother criticized me for everything My golden child sister plays dumb and speaks about my mother as if she’s a Saint, my other sister that I describe as the mascot speaks of her as a Saint as well I currently am in the process of trying to buy a home I don’t have much contact with them I live in the family home we all own together, which will be sold soon As soon as my mother discovered I was trying to buy a home she tried to paralyze me by calling me asking for money saying she is strapped for cash I called my golden child sister after I wired her money to her account she shares with my mother, my sister told me my mother didn’t need the money I realized this was a manipulation to cripple me from saving so I can stay in the family home so she can complain I am using the family and how I am a burden to everyone while she collects money from me and complain behind my back as being a mooch I felt so hurt when I realized how she lied to me only to use me to make herself out to be a victim and I the villain I spoke with my aunt recently (her sister) which gave me some relief when she told me she was aware my mother was a narcissist, she’s manipulative and their mother was the same way and scapegoated her My aunt took my mother in for a year, because like a true caregiving scapegoat she felt sorry for my mother until my mother burnt that bridge I talk with a lot of my clients about the same issues and your videos are a self reflective journey for me in this healing path Thank you, Kim Comment from : kimjhanp |

Hello Tamera!!! Love your videos and common sensical advice My sister mistreats me and does not care about me 365 days a year yet wants me to come to her wedding She was engaged to a man she met on a dating app Within one week of meeting him she got engaged That was in 2021 Now in April of this year she met a new man and now engaged in October I do not want to be apart of this disfunction My sister is desperate to marry anyone and have kids My mother got an attitude with me yesterday and said "She's your sister"- She is trying to guilt trip me into going to the wedding to avoid embarrassment and questions from family when they see I am not at the wedding Should I feel guilty for not going?
