these tips are helpful but none worked for me until I lightly smacked the controller lol (old school method) but I think the 10 second movement plus the rubbing alcohol method are more likely to fix the issue thank you

Honestly thank you so much dude, I brought a new dualsense so I could play the resident evil 4 remake (as my controller that came with the ps5 had really bad stick drift after about 2 years) and it just started to get stick drift

lmao, if any of you think any of these will fix the controller Also, replacing the analog stick is not a great option either Most of the replacement ones you find on eBay or similar are straight garbage and the drift will returnprobably the same ones Sony used when making these Unless you can find GOOD OEM manf analog stick replacement parts you screwed You can actually pull them from PS4 controllers, which, ironically, didn't suffer from stick drift as much because the controllers were better built

Mine was just spinning me in circles If this video doesnt work All i did was roll the stick in circles Bother direction quickly for 10 seconds each Fixed the problem For now But if there is one thing about sony controllers I know that a problem will always come back

Thank you!!! What helped me was using a lightly damp qtip with rubbing alcohol It didn’t work at first until I really got in there (gently) and swiped all the way around, getting rid of some gunk/debris The 10-second strategy didn’t work for me, unlike most here
