I have a new problem after I tried to fix a drift (which IS fixed)brbrMy stick now is hardened when i tried to shift it downwards, it almost clicks Also there's a difference drift (upward only, constantly) This is there even when i open the actuators casing and remove the two tiny disks Something is still sending an upward signal to the controller joystickbrbrWhat's going on? Every remote ive ever taken apart has been different in some little way but pretty much the same try just moving the stick around and wipe the insides before taking those green parts off saves you some time and mental pain Comment from : Paul Kossman |

Thank you i fixed my controller thanks to you i used to fix PS3 controllers with the drift stick problem so PS4 I'm not familiar with it , although please be careful when doing this any mistake can damage your controller worse than already is I cleaned it and since i had other PS4 controllers that don't work i removed their sensors and placed in my controller and cleaned it and it works no more stick drift Comment from : Mute |

I personally didn't think this would do anything Specially when the swab didn't even came any darker on my end But for my suprise fixed the HUGE upwards drift I was having! Thank you very much for this clip, I fixed my controller even though I must say the task it is not as easy as it seems when watching you :) parts are very delicate especially the sensor and really extra care must be taken when taking the controller apart, I did struggle to do the main shell opening of the controller as well a couple of clips retainers partially snapped even if I managed to glue them together , the screws keep the controller together even if I didn’t glue them Thanks again , thumbs up! Save yourself the headache and time and just buy the protection plan at gamestop when you buy a controller, as long as the outer shell of the controller isnt shattered or cracked you can get a replacement for up to 2 years at $15 and everytime you replace it the 2 years starts over (hence the $15) Comment from : You Killed Kenny |
