I feel like we're missing information tied to these car payments over $1,000/mo No talk about term or APR I would never buy a new car either, but really hate the equity argument for car value No one is buying a car thinking about how much the car depreciates in value, it's not something that pops into the mind of anyone No one is driving down the road thinking "my car is becoming less valuable because I'm driving it down the road" In reality, most people are driving down the road with a dependable car, listening to their favorite music thinking, "Wow, I'm so glad I have a car that can take me to work and get me around" I have a used 2016 Honda Accord that I'm over halfway done paying off with a $293/mo car payment, 269 APR/5 years I'm glad to have invested into this car because I needed a dependable vehicle, and I would do it again if I had to Car payments are not inherently evil Comment from : Hippo |
