Don't store if you plan on trying to survive long term or to survive as long as your body can take you all your storage will eventually run out the best thing to do for long term and keep going after the madness is to go plant some seeds medicinal plants and get some cranberries for juice making carrots to eat healthy and Dried fruits Plant some leaves you can wipe with and use leaves as a plate I wish are society chose leaves not dishes learn how to make water from air learn how to make crossbows and arrows fire and shelters out in the wild and get some real animal fur for the winter or future ice age You can also go live inside a mountain to keep safe Comment from : Gem_Femboy |

No kind of cordage included? Paracord or even some bank line (something I don't think I've seen in the UK) Needed to fashion a shelter, a roof at least, or to just tie things together Of course the line can be used to keep your family together too Rather like elephants holding on "trunk to tail" We are lucky in the UK not having to face hurricanes or tornados but we have had a few floods Comment from : Gary Stroud |

For anyone who’s lives in a relatively safe area, disasters still happen, so if you’re umming and ahhhing about creating one of these - do it I live in a quiet city, no fault lines, no fires, no floods, no volcanos, power plants And we still had some sort of gas emergency that meant my entire neighbourhood had to vacate the area within half an hour for up to three days Man am I glad I had those bags… Comment from : Little Lovee |

you should try and use all of them have everyone grab their bag and jackets, and head off in vehicle Go to side of the road and hike into a liveable seeable place (not the woods you will get lost) maybe park and go through the bags with the kids so they are aware of what each thing could do, and how to eat, drink and keep bottles etc it will give you a better idea of who reacts well and who doesn't, and how much you know Comment from : Carla Garrett |
