Hi Brett, i am just starting my youtube channel and I am still figuring out my camera and audio situation the last yoga video i did was on my friends iphone and I used my phone for music I do have a gopro camera and I am debating if i should just invest in a new professional camera There is just so many cameras and mircophones out there I get so overwhelmed on which to buy I have been looking into the rode mirophones too but saw some more affordables ones thats not rode brand as well Please give me and insight you have on this

I have been teaching yoga for many years, but I have been procrastinating about starting up a youtube channel because of the lack of technical experience, but your videos make it seem very doable - even for me! Great tips! I've been working on my yoga Youtube channel for almost 2 years, a labor of love! It is harder than it looks to do this by yourself with limited funds and experience I found that to be the most challenging aspect of the process so I pay a talented college student to edit my videos and make my thumbnails It's nice to have someone on my team To anyone new to making videos: your iphone will totally do the job if you don't have a camera, but, as Brett mentioned, absolutely invest in a lavalier mic I use Rodes Film maker kit wireless
