I upgrades from the lg oled c9 65 to the Lg oled C2 77 Zoll Im very exited Got Dolby Vision 120 hz and a brighter Pitcher And its bigger for sure I payed 2399 Euro and got 1100 Euro for my c9 A worth upgrade i think :)

I think LG should show the cx some love by dropping the new gaming bar into its next fireware I felt a little cheated when I got my cx only for lg to drop another one within a year with all the bells and whistles I get that tvs need new features for people to buy them but releasing 2 units within 12 months just ain't cool I won't be selling my cx just yet as I can't justify the expense for what looks to me to be a minor jump in technology

Does anyone notice any input lag when you’re playing a PS5 with Tru Motion on “Smooth” and the picture on vivid? That’s what I use and I feel like there might be a slight lag but perhaps it’s just me, I know you’re “SUPPOSED” to use “game mode” but I don’t because it makes the games look TERRIBLE!! I LOVE DEEP SATURATED COLORS, I COULDN’T CARE LESS ABOUT SO CALLED “COLOR ACCURACY” I want bright deep colors and high contrast with as high an FPS as I can get, but given that I play mostly sports games I can’t have input lag so I was wondering if anyone with an LG CX AND PS5 notices any? That’s my current setup so I’m curious if it’s just me or there actually is a very slight lag with these settings…thank you to anyone who can help Oh and do NOT bother trying to criticize me for what I like or how I use MY TV…I don’t care about how other people would set it up So please KEEP YOUR OPINIONS to yourself because at the end of the day it’s ALL A MATTER OF PERSONAL CHOICE/OPINION about what looks best to each person!

Not accurate imo, you are forgetting your cx is how many years old? Oled degrades over time and loses its brightness brbrOld used tv vs new tv

I owned a 55inch CX, but due to moving overseas I could not bring it with me Got myself a 65inch G2 recently and once again I got blown away by the size increase, picture quality and the overall brightness difference between these two G2 here in Canada got a nice 800$ price drop, so it was worth for me to take it now Overall, I am very happy with my G2 and let's see how the heatsink will help reducing the risk of burn in or image retention in the long run

Still loving my CX, only issues I have are the lip sync issues that I think(?) is a general problem with lg tvs? My first oled tho & very happy with it & never wanna go back to a ‘normal’ tv now

The difference in overall picture quality is somewhat subjective, but yes, the G2 is brighter and pushes highlights more The image clarity, ie, detail and sharpness, are about the exact same though, but the specular highlights are slightly better on the G2 They significantly improve it the next year with the C1 because of the CX not having good tone-mapping, etcetera In this care, it's a product of its time and shows that it comes down to a lackluster quality of the CX My C1 can hit just over a thousand nits of peak brightness, even when it's calibrated in game mode (HGiG) This means that the G2 is not always brighter (at least compared to mine), panel or scene, even if we're talking about the average C1 or C2 Most of the time, they will look the same or have the same brightness, because you can only tell so much difference between 100 or so nits With the 25 to 75 percent windows, my television is extremely bright, surpassing the G2's nits by the hundreds Strange, right? Well, I thought so as well, but it's a weird case of pulling the largest straw to win Regardless, I am lucky (somewhat), and I still believe that the processing from last year is a little bit better overall They dumbed down color, contrast, and clarity this year Also, the BT2020 coverage is nearly 3 percent lower this year However, you get a little more saturation, shadow detail, and brightness compared to the average C1 and CX when you are measuring out-of-the-box I have seen for myself, and I have viewed too many comparisons to be wrong about this conclusion In spite of this, they are all still decent televisions no matter what you say about it

Love these comparison videos and looking forward to QN95B vs LG G2 brIf you already own CX, i would wait next year for an upgrade For those who are upgrading from midrange led tv, LG G2 is a great choice New brighter panel with 5 years warranty is the way to go If you dont care that much about warranty, C2 is the next best thing I usually prefer Sony but for gaming, LG oled is still a king

Personally there’s too many trade offs with all new display technologies these days I have the Cx 65 inch and I still find myself going back to my 12 year old plasma samsung tv yes it’s only 1080p but for what ever reason it just looks better to me in most cases wry disappointed in new display tech and the price is also much higher what gives…

I think Oleds are overrated Really great blacks but too dim They can get brighter but the manufacturer are scared of burn ins!! Maybe in 2 or 3 years we will get great oleds I have the CX bye the way

Since the input lag isn’t that bad outside of game mode on LG tvs you should take your tv out of game mode and see if it’s any brighter

Honestly I think if you’re after that HDR pop and dazzling brightness upgrade while gaming the S95B is probably your best betbrbrApparently it has the brightest game mode of all the 3 big heavy hitter Oled tvs this yearbrbrIt just sucks that Samsung doesn’t support Dolby vision so I can’t stream Dolby vision movies

I've got a 55cx and don't have clipping in gt7 as your showing I've mine calibrated with the ps5 also, there's too many variables on this as even the white balance looks different on your comparisons unless you show the settings being exactly the same it's hard to really judge

I think the reason you were so impressed by Dolby vision is because DV is supposedly over brighten on the LG this year The calibration crowd is trying very hard to make LG decrease the brightness in DV

Seems like that with HGiG supported games the G2 has sometime less shadow details but when games doesn't support HGiG there's no difference And HGiG or not, there's always more details (no clipping) or just brighter on the G2 for highlights G2 is better no doubt, but is the price difference justifiable?
