I’ve been diagnosed as both bipolars, major depression, anxiety, the list probably goes on beyond that All they gave me were some seriously crazy meds and asked if I wanted therapy I didn’t want to cause more issues for my family so I refused therapy I grew up in a house with 7 other siblings two siblings who have epilepsy (at the time known to be the worst kind and almost completely unpreventable) and one sibling with Down syndrome who had 8 major surgeries and had the cops called to help find him like 12 times cause they would run away for whatever reason all the time(even with all windows and doors bolted etc) I had also unfortunately had the experience of being groomed and finally assaulted over the ages of 12-15 by my friends uncle I told my parents which is why I was sent to the dr in the first place and got diagnosed with all that stuff (He went to jail) anyways with all this stuff added up by the time I was 18 I was done with the earth I ended up in the hospital a couple of times too for it Well after lots of research and confusion after deciding dying was a bad idea, I have come to the conclusion that maybe my death wish for myself was not because I was bipolar, but because I have legit seriously bad c-PTSD I have solved many of my issues through lots of self work and some therapy and generally speaking am not depressed or anxious anymore! Also, both my siblings epilepsy issues have been basically eradicated due to some amazing tech discoveries and developments so that’s even more awesome than my self curing

For me, while it did have a bunch or lifestyle triggers, it was more of a chemical imbalance in my brain Causing Kanye levels of batshit crazy I got very lucky that it happened prior to me becoming 18, because my parents were able to force me into treatment While it was very traumatic having people in the hospital tie me down and force shots on me, or have pills physical forced down my throat, or being dragged back into a room because I wanted to leave, I would definitely be unemployed and homeless, as well as still psychotic if I hadn’t been forced into treatment I have a great life now At the time, I believed there was nothing wrong with me, and believed my hallucinations and delusions were the truth I never would have sought treatment on my own, and honestly may have ended my own life, not because I was depressed, but because I was insane to the point of believing I had superpowers or was a CIA agent I might have jumped off a building thinking I could fly

Human beings have not evolved enough to handle the complexities and stress of modern life This is demonstrably true Life is hard and life with more complexity can literally drive us crazy Some people adapt better than others Religion helps many people and has a long history of therapeutic success Religion allows the religious to use "acceptance" that we cannot control everything Only God controls everything Life is even more complex and stressful in big cities Study after study shows that people who live in the big cities are more stressed and less satisfied with life than those in the suburbs They are also less religiousso many people in the big cities look for government to control the complexity and unpredictability in their lives That hasn't worked well at all

I find these days a lot of people around me have a ‘non stop talking syndrome’ - they just do not stop talking and dont even take a breath Its the most prevalent illness at the moment, no ability to hear or listen to the person in front of them yet ready to constantly talk over and chatter non stop Most these people (i have witnessed) live in messy or unclean houses with clutter and dirt Some have kids suffering in their house with them Yet still no awareness around them A most horrible state of being to be in
