Hey man Any 'achieved' marathon is a milestone regardless YOU FINISHED IT Wouldn't prescribe 'that way' of going out and just running a marathon on a random Due to a high risk of injury But hey, you pulled it off brbrSometimes a 'confidence' not 'arrogance' is all we need to achieve our goals Self Belief even better Comment from : tru tube |
I ran Carmel this year too, I chose it so my whole famiy could come watch me run my first marathon I had the tenacious goal of a BQ on my first marathon out, and was able to achieve it I owe most of that to living in las vegas and training at altitude along with having my family there along the course to support me the whole way! brI will be running my second marathon Saturday Sept 16th at the 27th Air Force Marathon! Comment from : Sutherland Ingall |

Good luck, thanks for the info But how did people run these events for such a long a time without supplements, salt, gels, etc and still have world record numbers Feels like we lose touch with our inner human instincts to just run, and not be so dependent on additional supplements Train, work hard, and run Don't complicate with the shoe, the gel, the weather, the city, the app your using, water, nutrition etc I get those are all important, however, just do it Stop with the whining and "I need this in order to achieve this" blah blah blah Congrats on your journey Comment from : Hector Bermudez |
