so tell me please: in 2018 a list of pain I presented to the doctors was described as a somatic delusion and now 2023 I have the results of tests that show clearly the pain I complained of is true So how now? I don't believe I have psychosis, but I really felt that thinking others can read your mind thingbrbrI have been diagnosed with OCD and a huge bit of my OCD is contamination However, rather than fearing germs I fear contamination from someone's essence (?) Like if someone touches me or I touch things they touched recently or eat something they cooked they can control and read my mind brbrIt's been a constant thing in my mind since I was in 5th grade, hell even before brbrI was unable to shower recently because my relatives stayed over and used my bathroom and I feel like their essence is still there and they can watch me And like hell I want people to see me naked brbrI'm also overall just rather paranoid of others and myself Sometimes I can convince myself of things not true that cause me distress Like when I had Covid and had to self isolate I honestly felt like I was being held in a room against my will and was banging on the windows begging for help Or I can convince myself I'm going to die soon and I end up writting a death note telling my loved ones anything I want to say before I die It's like an inescapable feeling of dread, like my life is doomed for something horrible Sometimes I lock my doors because I feel like there is a monster outside of it, and if I breath too heavily the monster can hear me, so I sit there holding my breath, crying I was on a call with my ex once during an incident like this, he was trying to console me as I was whispering to him how scared I was, how it was right outside the door, how I loved him and I didn't want to die brbrIt also manifests with other people, I sometimes look at people I know super well and feel like I'm seeing a stranger Sometimes a certain phrase someone says or thing someone does feels like my entire reality shifted Like they were all pretending this whole time and that slight action or phrase was a drop in the mask, and I was seeing something I wasn't supposed to see And suddenly I'm genuinely terrified of them I end up spending the day on edge, feels dissociated and like the entire world around me is weird and not real, like people are watching me brbrSorry for the info dump, this is just something distressing I've been dealing with

My older sister has been recently diagnosed with Physcosis and these videos are helpful for me so I can better understand what my sister is going through I'm from the Philippines and unfortunately mental illness isn't taken seriously here I explained what I thought was paranoid schizophrenia to my my parents and we got help and this was her initial diagnosis I'm glad that we sre getting the help we need I will never give up on my sister because I love her no matter what ❤️
