Would it work perfectly if I only replace the white sensor without soldering the green or the orange plastic part holding the white sensor? I'd just clean inside and replace it with a new sensor Would it really work??? Has anyone ever given it a try?

I really wish I wasn’t such a pu$$y to solder these on myself I REALLLLLY want to try these orange joysticks According to manufacturers website, stock ALPS joysticks are rated up to 200,000 revolutions while the orange units are rated up to 500,000 revolutions before failure Why SONY chose the lower quality ones is mind boggling
