Help! I repotted my ginseng ficus in August and last week all most ALL of its leaves fell off! 😢 It was doing so well Even growing new leaves Any ideas to help my little guy come back?

There isn't a "repotting season" for ficus, especially if kept indoors Otherwise very cool video Enjoyed your content You really know alot and are doing a great job To be clear the consensus was to repot in the warmer months because most people move their trees outside in the warmer seasons, however if they are kept indoors it makes no difference Unless kept in a really cold room compared to normal house temperatures

I've never used wire, that's interesting I have a ginseng ficus in my kitchen window I have removed any yellow leaves near the base I also trimmed off any thin dying branches It has never been fertilized Will Miracle-Gro work, and which kind should I get?

My favorite bonsai material by far is ficus Lived in Florida for many years and ficus do so well there Just moved north so I will have to protect my trees for winter brF Nerofolia and F Retusa "tigerbark" are my two favorite Both do great propagation from clippings

Adam, I have a question about my ficus ginseng I bought a larger one that has grafted branches, and I'm finding that the leaves are falling quite a bit I am keeping it inside in a fairly well lit area, watering as needed etc I'm wondering if planting it in a deeper pot next spring would help it establish more roots? And I'm wondering if I remove some of the grafted branches if that would help the tree? I'm not a fan of the grafted look it turns out! brbrI'm totally new to bonsai, and have mainly been doing basic care for my bonsai trees, the most successful of which are my ficus ginseng, but this larger tree is relavitely new to my collection
