In my experience all of the care guides are wrong They make it out to be far more delicate than it really is I recently placed mine about 3 feet from a south facing window and let it dry down like other philodendrons and it’s doing very well With every new leaf it has developed one or two additional leaflets (or whatever they would be called) I’m surprised yours has essentially presented two of the same shape (it looks like only three immature leaflets) brbrIt seems unhappy, I would increase light and worry less about drying out I have a feeling it dropped the original out of shock or insufficient light as opposed to it being unhappy about drying out brbrJust for reference I got the same sized specimen about two months ago with three total leaves the most mature still had the normal philodendron leaf shape Now it’s up to seven total leaves with the most mature having seven leaflets I hope this helps, It most certainly is a weird one! Try looking for the thaumatophyllum spruceanum that's what the goeldii was reclassified as if you're looking for more information! I have one as well and couldn't find anything about it really but mine was sold to me as a Philodendron Nobel I will take this journey with you because I want those mature leaves too!!!
