this video really made me confident in making a bedding on the new rem 700 la rifle im gonna get later this summerbrI have made bedding jobbs on other rifles, with diffrent actions, but my goal this time is a real clean one like this, so i will absolutely take my time doing this

I always thought the point of pillar bedding was to have contact between the action and the pillar That being said, I am slightly confused as to why the tops of the pillars were ground away Can you explain why one is better than the other? Thanks

By far, the best tutorial on how to bed a stock That is one of the best finished products I've ever seen for a bedding job and I shoot F-Class and benchrest so I have seen the omg what did you do to your rifle all the way up to wow, did Picasso bed that for you? kinda bedding jobs Excellent work to both of you!

Nathan, wasn't the whole idea of having both the Front and Rear Pillars present (I assume, from the McMillan Factory?), to give you both Front and Rear Referrence Points? brBy removing material off the top of both these Pillars, you have taken this epoxy bedding job, from a Pillar Bedded-Epoxy Bedding job, back to a conventional epoxy bedding job This is Not the way I do a bedding job, as I believe you have taken a backward step I would be interested to hear your reason behind, why you have done this? Bought a couple of containers of Nathans Match grade bedding compound, followed his instructions as per his videos to the letter of the law and proceeded to bed 2 riflesbrThe bedding compound is really easy to work with being quite viscous and easy to mix Got 2 beautiful bedding jobs completed Have bedded a number of rifles over my 70 years but Nathans mix has given me by far the most professional bedding job Really pleased with the result, especially the Hogue rubberised stock which are not always the easiest stock to bed effectivelybrGo for it fellas The process is time consuming but worth it in the finishThis stuff is worth it's weight in gold, and kiwi made !!
