In response to Siegrid Thomas: Yes, it's true that not everyone speaks French But if you are going to be an authoritative voice on a topic, that authority is undermined by mispronunciations It only takes a few seconds to Google the pronunciation of a word Surely, that's not too much to expect of a narrator

For the pronunciation purists: You will find millions of examples of mispronunciations by people whose first language is not French There are also many examples of French speakers who do not pronounce English words correctly (we can also point to British English vs American English pronunciations) Some of it has to do with how we learn vowel and consonant sounds and combinations (for example rolling r’s in Spanish)

This is NOT about $865 million Notre Dame (almost an insult to dear God- some give their money, others give their time and a slice of their life) This is rather about faith, resilience, donations / sacrifice and hard work by thousands helped by some discreet miracles that spared all stainglass, the organ, the master altar, the Vierge à l'enfant statue ND is the hearth of our country, not a pile of moneybrYour text is an ode to peace and joint work and trust Your video is sadly very old and does not reflect today's status of Notre Dame (The "forest" is re-installed, the spire being assembled in-situ, the lead roof to be soon (early 2024) covering this jewel of Christiandom Thank you to all donours and all workers May God bless you

I agree with pipmitchell7059 Every time the narrator mispronounces Notre Dame, I cringe It's pronounced "noh truh DAHM" And not a single person involved in making this video caught this embarrassing mistake
