Use straw floor instead of wood as it is more flammable than the Hindenburg, simple incendiary mines surrounded by straw floor can wipe out an entire unlucky raid

Here's one neat advanced trick: If you get a dormant mech cluster with an automortar and no proximity activator You can go build a roof tile on top of the mortar and it won't be able to fire

dismantle a corner block and a roof tile to get a peak inside anchent dangers, also you can build a roof over mech morters to stop them from being able to attack
