If you toggle ammo off for this shit mod (because you're sick of right clicking every single ammo type to find the right one because they all have the same icon more or less), your charge rifles (the best rifle in the game) wont even scratch an enemy wearing recon armor (third best armor) Clearly gun nuts that made this mod with no idea have to balance a game Comment from : _ |

CE is my favourite mod of all and i really love it if there's a malfunction in my modlist because of CE, i drop the broken mod and let CE stay, no excuses here i'll leave some tips to it:br1 303 caliber is heavily underrated FMJ ammo for default rifle can penetrate centipede's armor, you can defeat it if you'll control ur pawn carefully (although it requires alot of bullets, but you get it, right?)br2 put your pawns in darkness when you shoot, and put some light on your enemies so you can be more precise when you shoot em (solar pinhole ability from royalty dlc can do a thing)br3 LMG > AR no matter what, if you struck with a choice to pick one of these weapons, pick LMG it does slightly more damage, it penetrates better, it has more ammo in your mag available to shot and etc, you get me br4 dont be afraid to have melee combatants, just make sure you have set their equipment properly with new riposte, critical hits and parry mechanics your melee pawn can be a beast in defending one pawn with a cataphract set & zeushammer (from royalty) can destroy a hive on its own if controlled properly (also zeushammer > plasmasword > monosword if youre playin with royalty)br5 and lastly, HMGs slaps get your hands on it as fast as possible 14 caliber really does it right, and 14 caliber has no excuses thrumbo? dead centipede? dead cataphract? neck torn off, torso blown away you get it brand there's alot more features such as incendiaries, emps, smoke bombs and stuff like that, you'll get it later as you progress thru the game and acknowledge the mod itself have a nice play! A Meteorite exposed my Ancient Danger and it had a Centipede and a Lancer in it my whole colony was destroyed I managed to kill the Lancer with no issue and I 1v5 the Centipede with my 3 Colonies a Rhino and a Horse the Centipede kept getting knock over from the Rhino and Horse attacks but my AR, Bolt Action Rifle and Revolver only managed to scratched it the AR and Revolver doesn't even do damage to it so the Rhino got knocked out and so did the Horse and you can guess what happened after that Comment from : Melio Curie |

Here are some additional tips from a hardcore player like me who plays on losing is fun difficulty commitment mode with combat extended:brbr- Always build a designated killzone, it helpsbr- start your colony with at least one nearby allied colony to trade This will be useful for my next tipbr- when you have silver or anything to trade, BUY ALL THE PSYCHIC LANCES ALL OF IT Call it game breaking, but those relic will save your colony a lot of troubles in combat extended See someone with power armor? Shock it away and strip him later! See someone with rocket? Dont worry! Shock lance has longer range and is almost instant, even in melee!br- Vs mechanoids, scythers and lancers are inferior when you already set up your killzone, but deadly on close encounters Gearing up your colonies from strip enemies saves you the troubles Pikemen is easy when their weapons are artillery, perfect for hit and run tactics The real threats are centipedes! Dont ever try to put turrets next to your main defensive wall as they can puncture through your base Dont even try to fight centipedes head on! Even cataphracts are no match, even melees!br- vs centipedes, shock lances are your express tickets! To deal even more damage, flamethrowers with prometheum fuel will totally destroy even the toughest centipede with ease!brbrHope this helps! Comment from : PatRekt Gaming |
