Yeah HGIG does darken the screen a bit but, I just adjust the brightness in the in-game settings usually two or three clicks does the trick I don't like the games when they're too bright

Not sure why hdtv said to do last setting all the way down, so many people complaining that shadow details are too dark, well thats your big reason I know its an oled, but from many hours of testing putting last setting all the way down and clipping the sun at least for me results in too dark scenes in darker areas like shadows when using hgig If you make all settings like the sony wants you to, as in you see the sun on all three screens with hgig, your fog scenes wont look so washed out and dark areas will look correct, as in you can see

Does anybody have problem with 120hz on 4k receiver for playing ps5/xbox games Only can play 60hz though receiver But when i take hdmi put it only in lg CX it plays 120hz

There is only 3 games that support hgig at the moment, so this is pointless Yes hgig brings out more detail that would be clipped if you have dynamic tone mapping on, but I only use hgig for certain games others I dont use it Astros playroom supports hgig aswell

I stopped using this feature on my C9 I just prefer the way the picture looks with it off I think not all games support HGIG but I could be incorrect Honestly, the C9 is a gorgeous panel and I'm very happy with how it looks
