Scope creep in primary care? really? There aren't enough providers for patients, and patients are often waiting months for a PCP appointment So if APPs are willing to do some of that work and increase access for patient care that sounds like a plus to me APPs (and MDs!) will do consults for things that fall outside of primary care's scope

Unpopular opinion 20: Chose lifestyle, scope over passion You'd be amazed how fast your passion for a specialty diminishes once it starts to affect your lifestyle and you're one one many That's why I chose neurology (clinical), I absolutely hated Neuro but it had the most scope and I welcome the challenge Now I'm in love ❤

I’m pretty amazed to see that you forgot to mention anaesthesia!! Anesthetist spend 12-15 hours of their day in operation theatres and they don’t even get to see outside world many don’t even get to see the sun I know some Anesthetists who start working literally at 7 am and go on till 9 pm and yes, apart from stress, you also have to face many cases in the court, you end up paying compensation in millions of dollars just for failing to write appropriate long forms in your notes !! Although you get paid a nice amount, many doctors don’t want to do Anesthesia because of the stress and various risks involved

The people they don’t know any thing about Medical lifestyle , they think we spent all the time in hospital this extremely not right ,we have time but is just for our selves and our family I hope to be Cardiothoracic surgeon🤍
