I tested as FA, and although i didnt have a name for it until now, I've long been aware of what i do and why i do it The fear of betrayal is beyond fear I biknow/i/b everyone, friend, acquaintance, lover, whatever, will betray and try to harm me if they think they can get away with it Ive known it since i was a kid, and my entire worldview is based on that knowledge

After learning about attachment styles following a relationship with a narc, i did shadow work, learned about boundaries, self love and slowly i morphed into secure attachment I realize, people can only love u on the level they know how which is different from each individual but hearing this, was like, ouch!! 😅 brI’ve come along way, but dang it hits home 😂

Thankfully I feel like I have healed from the latter two fears: fear of being bad and unworthy The other fears- fears of abandonment and betrayal and being trapped will only come from experiencing the opposite with a healthy partner 🤷‍♀️

I am healing my FA and just had a conversation about how I have literally overpaid and not stood up for myself when paying for subpar services that breached contracts, all bc I didn’t want to feel or look “bad “brSeriously, avoiding that can wound lead us to make huge compromises, especially when coupled with the FA’s other pernicious wound “ I am unworthy”! brThank you, Tais! Your content is better than 30 years of therapy, 12step and a million other modalities that fail to address subconscious programming as root cause ❤❤❤
