Here's the thing about buying a car Nobody can trick you, you're an adult If you think you're paying too much, ask for money off People act like it's such a huge pain in the ass You have the ability to tell anyone NO believe it or not I love how people say dealers are tricking you YOU and YOU only are responsible for looking over all of the paperwork before you sign anything Here's another thing tooIf you were selling your own car on Facebook, and wanted $16,000 for it When someone shows up to look at it, are you going to say right away "Here's the car, but I will take $14,000 for it if I have to" Orif someone comes with $16,000 are you taking their money? It's called negotiating for a reason The dealer isn't just going to give you their best price right away, much like you wouldn't do that to someone you were selling something to If you don't want to pay more, be prepared to negotiate

Dealing with a dealership now Low balled my car by 10k If buying a pre-owned be sure you look at the retail value to make sure you are not paying way above what it is worth This dealer isn't making much on their car so they are trying to make up on the trade in value of mine knowing they can resell it for more Carmax said 37k trade in but 43k resell I think I could get 45k if I sold it privately
