5ft 10, lost 112 lbs, I have lifted for 4 years had to take a 3 month due to surgeries after a long cut, i have lost a ton of muscle I estimate I have lost 30 lbs of muscle and now I am skinny fat 24 bmi 168 lbs

To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed by this video In literature, skinny fat refers to a body composition with high visceral fat and is also called normal weight obesity None of your examples including yourself fit that description If you are skinny fat, you have barely any visible fat, but a clearly visible stomach Your stomach feels hard and not soft, because the muscles cover the fat which is inside It doesn't matter if you have skinny or strong arms and chest The issue is the fat surrounding your organs and the answer to that problem is absolutely not to bulk further Most people with this issue had been super thin as kids, not just normal And the body just isn't capable to store higher amounts of fat regularly as subcutaneous fat meaning that if you eat even more, you make the problem worse

i have visible bones, but a huge stomach after countless surgeries I cannot flex my lower belly due to that, so i feel like i have a huge belly I hold fat in the legs and midsection mostly Im 6 1 ft, 184,8lb, 22 yrs male I look like a skinny person or skinny fat and weigh like a fat person according to BMI Im really hopelles

Skinny fat guy myself 6‘2 feet with 169 lbs and 20 Bodyfat don’t give a fuck i recomped for 2 months now but will bulk for 6 months yet and cut After That no Need to Go underweight just to get a lower bodyfat Bulking With 20 body is Not the best thing to do but in the end i have Not enough muscle and continue to recomp with a deficit will cut More lbs Thanks bulk King for your Videos !

what if you have some muscle but still have bodyfat laying around your love handles, arms and chest area? Kind of how alot of people with pan asian indian genetics, they have some muscle if they workout but still have a lot of bodyfat and cutting they have to get to a pathetic weight to look lean You might as well recompbrbrI also dont think the FFMI calculator is accurate, I know someone who is 5'6 150lbs with 20 who def looks like he works out and someone who is 5'7 about 10 bodyfat at 150lbs but literally doesnt workout just trains jiu jitsu/mma good shape but there is a huge difference in size and strength from both individuals The person who is 5'6 150lbs with 20 bodyfat is double the size of the person who is 5'7 150lbs ripped

I‘m 19 years old, 5’8 and I went from 96kg to 78kg in about 4-5 months (I was 110kg last year, I wasn’t actively trying to lose weight, I just cut out sweets and sugary drinks and lost weight) My problem right now is that at 78kg I still cary a lot of fat and very little muscle I don‘t want to cut anymore as I fear I would still look the same with 70-75kg I really want bulk on put on muscle to look less shit, but it kinda doesn’t feel right due to my high body fat Any advice?

100 agree! The BMI chart is very accurate for the average person I like that you showed you starting at 218 which is a normal bodyfat percentage Many influencers push being 12-15 bodyfat year round as "normal" when this should be the goal as it's actually very lean Great video man!

ugh i hate that i am the 5'10" guy at 180lbs in this vid its been such a struggle i was over 200 lbs at my highest now at 180 i still feel over 200 people say wow you look so skinny and im like no, im still so fat i have a solid few weeks of dieting and working out, scale doesnt budge and i fall off its an endless cycle dropping 10 lbs to get to 170 seems absolutely impossible have one beer and the week is ruined one week im thinking okay i need to cut cut cut next week im like wait, no i need to add muscle muscle muscle its a continuous cycle of conflicting feelings when i know that my goal is to get lean and look my best and be confident in who i am its extremely diifficult

Yes, you can´t loose fat and build muscle at the same timebrBut people are so focused on the whole "Bulking means also gaining fat" and "Cutting means also losing muscle", that they forget the basic mathbrbrLet´s say you start at 60 kg with 25 of body fatbrThis means you hold 15 kg of total fatbrNow you slow bulk to 80 kg over the course of 1 and a half years You ate clean and had a good programm, so you gained 19 kg of muscle and only 1 kg of fatbrThis leaves you with 16 kg of fat or a body fat percentage of 20 brYes you won´t be super ripped, but you will look big and strongbrAnd you can cut down 5 or 10 kg to get the sixpack you wanted in the first place

I never really like the term skinny fat and I think it´s gets used wrongly a lotbrI also don´t think that a BMI of almost 22 qualifies for skinny fatbrA healthy BMI for an adult male is around 18,5 to 25brThis number may vary a by 0,5 points depending on the sourcebrbrThe fitting term for these normal weight but high body fat people is "untrained"
