I am strong, have always been, I did leave, went to a place and hid, and still have no contact 9 months on! Lost my friends, his family, my neighbours my life In the middle now of planning a fresh start I still cant speak of him without becoming a gibbering wreck It kinda appears as tension in my chest, so I dont speak of him He broke me But Im alive, strong and starying over at 57😊

I know longer show my good qualities, I hide them because I know there's always narcs out there looking for supply I live my life keeping a safe distance away from people until I am able to discern if they're healthy minded I'm no longer walking around all bubbly, open and welcoming These qualities are reserved now

i didnt know this kinda person existed till i met one, never even heard the word before, now i question other people that have walked in my path past and present, i wonder if the kids that bullied us at school had this disorder

So true, my now ex friend did this, years of put downs and picking at me until I gave up my autonomy Little did we both know that despite being buried, I wasn’t truly dead, and even though I’m crawling, I’m riding I realised I was scared of my own potential, I was conditioned to do so, yet I always had some hope and faith that it wasn’t the end I’m so glad she’s out of my life, she despised who I am because it’s who she’ll never be I wish her no harm or ill, she’s already sick and life is her prison, her own mind kidding itself everyday that it’s happy, healthy, confident, and fulfilled is a life sentence As for the man that was never meant to be because I was only narcissistic supply, I see you for who you are, a truly lame individual who cannot sit still and be honest with anyone or about anything because the silence of the truth that makes your life would kill you, so you swim upstream, and yes, achieve but deep down you know how hollow and mean you really are, how much you choose to hurt and use women, and despite appearances, your life is a very successful facade, brains and money and a good job with a gym membership won’t change the fact you are so wicked and broken you project it onto others, but like the friend I’m glad I no longer know, you’ll never be happy, you’ll never be able to face what’s inside, it’s not that I wasn’t enough for either of you, it’s that I was already more than enough and beyond you, and you hated that so tried to destroy me, but though wounded, I am not destroyed

Oh my gosh, I had never thought of it that way before Because, i was having a hard time understanding how i am codependent, but yet i am picking up these traits in myself and totally puzzled as to what is going on I don't recognize myself became i have been in this pressure cooker of confusion!
