What was the last time you used 8K at 60fps or can your computer view or produce that actually? Are we thinking of buying a beast we will never utilize just because it could even though we don`t need those features at all And have no real application of them? Matt - was thinking about 8K 60 FPS If this is true, and a single 8K frame is about 33 MP, does that imply we could just shoot 8K and frame grab at 33 MP as we like? Further, does that mean 45 MP at 30 FPS stills, 33 MP at 60 FPS (video snipping)? Video snipping is not as well controlled as a well done image but this might have some use right? I will never buy one, but sincerely hope the Z9 really kicks ass If Nikon catches up with and surpasses Sony and Canon, they'll have to respond Competition is good for consumers And incredible new features on top-of-the-line cameras tend to eventually trickle down into models the rest of us can afford Looking forward to next week's announcement!brPS If the Z9 actually has an APS-C mode that produces approx 11MP files, that would strongly suggest the full frame resolution is around 30MP, not the 45 or 46MP being rumored A 45MP full frame sensor produces approx 17MP files when cropped to APS-Cbr120 fps? I shoot sports a lot and would likely never use a frame rate like that 10 to 12 fps is what I usually use and I might use 20 fps if I had it But any faster than that I just don't see the point and even constraining myself to short bursts (usually 3 or 4 frames, occasionally 5 or 6), I already have to edit many thousands of images after an event A 120 fps rate would mean far, far more images tens of thousands!
