Since 2020 lockdowns I had some psychotic attacks, it is either manifestation of toxic guilt or depressionbrI don't know how to live with myselfbrI didn't have almost any mental illnesses, maybe except mild depression due not seeing my favorite band Rush in Poland, but since lockdowns everything in my life got worsebrOn top of that I don't accept being from Poland, because I became a feminist since JK Rowling's cancellation and other reasons for a while I won't say Maybe tough history Poland faced makes me even more refusing to accept this fact, eh?brI might be autistic, even though undiagnosed, so that is why I get sensory overload Comment from : Olga Nesterowicz |

Sorry about your traumatic experience, David I hope time has healed youbrbrSmoke weed if you want don't be on the BBC naysaying it my man I can understand your position but psychosis is a useful stick to bash people with, especially those with mixed heritage or atypical physiologybrbrDoctos treat people as if they should all aspire to the same level of perfection Most dont know how to get down & loosen up, they're on a death drive of their own yet think they're superheroes brbrFrom exoerience working with some awful people, don't I repeat DON'T believe the hypebrbrHow many doctors are desperately lonely and shut up people with support systems in horrible environmentsbrbrDr K what a tosser Comment from : cat xo |

As someone with bi-polarmania compounded with psychosis, I have a whole 6 month window of my life that I can't remember His description of being in this almost euphoric state perfectly describes my manic episodes It's so scary because, although it's never happened again and I'm very strict with taking my meds, I'm so afraid I'll lose myself again and never come back so to speak Very impressive he was so receptive to treatment and it's worked so well for him Comment from : LongWayDown |

As diagnosed bipolar Ive suffered a manic psychosis, it was an incredible delirious whirlwind that ended up in closed care and two years of rehabilitation and finding the right medications to be able to live a somewhat stable life It can be a very confusing, traumatizing and degrading experience that causes a lot of shame For me I thought I was being followed by authorities and scared my friends and family half to death, also convinced a friend of mine who passed away recently was actually undercover and set up trials for me to pass and be recruited like him It is important to be aware that not all psychosis is caused by drugs I was completely sober, however under alot of physical and emotional stress Comment from : c33k4y |

I’ve experienced psychosis for about 4 years now I have gone back to alcohol and weed on multiple occasions, making it worse I just have a lot of pain and want to relieve it temporarily Idk why I forget what it does to me and I go back to it even though it makes it so much worse It’s exhausting and disturbing It feels so real… I’ve tried so many things… Been diagnosed with so many things… I don’t know what to do… I don’t feel like I have anyone to help me quit I know it’s my responsibility but I feel so alone People I love and used to love being around now make me anxious, paranoid, and untrusting Idk why I’m typing this because there’s no point, I’ve tried everything Antipsychotics gave me TD (obsessive licking/sucking movements) I don’t feel like me anymore I made a song called “I can never be myself” because I can’t just be that happy, loving person who made others smile and laugh It’s grueling and I’m sick of things lining up I want the randomness again, but I don’t want the extreme ambiguity I had dreams… Still do Maybe one day I’ll find someone who really changes my life and offers a solution but for now I’m stuck in perpetual unwanted experiences that my mind does to itself Take care everyone, I think the line between sanity and psychosis is a thin one Im not saying that to be fear mongering or negative, just saying it because if I had a chance to go back it would mean a whole new life for me It would mean love with the people I care about, it would mean a successful career, it would mean fulfillment Much love and best wishes Thanks Comment from : Imperfect Pondering |
This is so real to me I've been suffering with psychosis for decades Comment from : Oz Bo |
I took lsd about 2 years ago and after I smoked weed and just lost my self I started becoming paranoid thinking everyone knew something I didn’t and was trying to protect me or even hurt me I thought I died and I went to hell it was so scary I got depressed and just had these crazy thoughts and would talk to my mom bc she was my safe outlet I thought random people would stair at me for no reason but all those delusions went away by it’s self but I’m still not sure if I’m cured I have this fog over my head all the time and feel disconnected I think I have dp/dr now just hoping I get through it Comment from : Lil Aa |
Not everyone in psychosis is violant while some may be but not everyone I saw a lady on the gas station was in obvious psychosis and a random pedestrian was freaked out complexly and said he wanted to call police on her and maybe get her help but sometimes that’s not helpful It only makes it more traumatic She wasn’t a harm to anyone and was just rambling to herself Uneducated people on the subject kinda need to better knowledge themselves Comment from : Jill A |

There is a lot of obscurity about psychosis in the media, they make it seem like psychosis is an extreme condition which always includes actual hallucinations, but psychosis has its degrees Psychosis includes dissociation, with the world, being delusional but as in not being able to understand reality properly and having weak emotional connections with the surroundings It does not always need to be that extreme, as in seeing things Comment from : Gregor Samsa |
