For a while chamomile did it's job in the first 2-3 years of my period but now , the first day for me is crucial like my period hurts so much that I can barely walk eat or drink something and when I try to take a calming pill I just puke it out 💀💀💀 I have no escape least time I stayed with cramps for almost 4 hours until I felt the "egg" coming out after that everything was fine , I cried so much uncontrollably just having small walks from the couch to the bathroom repeatedly, so no heating pad, no yoga, no tea and no pill can help me anymore and that's so sad

i am in severe pain 2nd day periods are the absolute worst i’m on a road trip and the pain comes in waves i can’t scream into a pillow or lay in my bed i’m stuck in a confined space with really bad cramps 😭😭

Not everyone gets cramps in stomach I was to get pain on my knees atleast for 4-5 days before and during periods terrible pain

To anyone suffering from severe menstrual cramps, I recommend asking your doctor to prescribe you a muscle relaxer! I take tizanidine and it's a LIFESAVER 🙌

I started eating a piece of jaggery everyday especially 10 days before my periods which helped me to maintain my iron levels And also I started doing exercise daily which relieved my period pains completely That worked for me very well

I find that taking a magnesium supplement at least a week before in the recommended dosage helps a lot to reduce the intensity of the my cramps Drinking lots of peppermint tea has helped me as well
