Ha, movers are too expensive to hire in USA?! brWe hired a van and a driver for two 5km moving trips and it only took one and a half hours

Since seeing your 2 documentaries on Netflix about 3 weeks ago I had a real light bulb moment and I’ve been making a conscious effect to declutter a lot of ‘stuff’ I’ve given bags of clothes, shoes, linens etc to family and friends I’m a very creative person so I have lots of supplies for a lot of different forms of art and I’m in the process at the mo of sorting it out but am feeling very overwhelmed by the enormity of it all, there’s so much to sort out! I feel like just throwing out without sorting it but I can’t bring myself to do that either and I also feel really guilty about putting things to landfill that can’t be recycled or reused Please help!!

QUESTION In the early stages did you feel guilt when you bought things? My passion is card making, and giving I make 600 to 900 cards a year and I greatly enjoy stamps, dies, inks etc I always feel guilty after shopping, but I truly love using my tools I enjoy the feeling I get when I give or send them, and get teary when I am told how much they mean to people

We just made a trip to Goodwillthey are closed but still accepting donations in our area There was a line there I was surprised to see that people are still donating and getting rid of thingsI took a brand new suitcase someone gave me I already have one or two lol

#Covid19 has temporarily halted #minimalism process for me brbrI'm more focused on my health and well being but I stopped #decluttering my things I know I have to go thru my stuff again but rn I'm making sure my family and I have enough supplies and the essentials during the #pandemic I plan to continue on after this is over 😁👍

That’s funny because I’ve always had the idea that getting movers is expensive too and a luxury thing until I looked it up for myself because I’m moving soon and saw that it wasn’t that much lol
