You build huge work capacity through high reps I usually do about 400 pushups a day Usually in one session and never feel sore you just adapt to It Even "egolofting" and trying to go to failure for several attepmts no soreness I think the best thing about these types of training, dayly pushups, pullups, etc is that It builds a base for other kinds of training, lets say big lifts

I do half my max pushups 4 times a day I can do 60 at one time so I do 30 right when I get out of bed 30 right before I walk out the door 30 right when I get home 30 right after dinner everyday

I started doing a set of dips and pull-ups every morning after walking my dog Nothing crazy Just to get a good pump It’s a game changer I have more energy and can push myself harder (within reason) during my structured workouts I’m not as sore and most of my aches and pains went away And I’m much leaner too

Common sense would tell us our bodies don't need rest when it comes to moving our own weight Lots of manual labor jobs require every day muscular involvement and the body just adapts "Farmers Strength" is very real

This is true Everyday at work (5 times a week) I would mess around with my coworkers doing 2 pull ups An I did it every day By beginning of Week 2 I did 4 By the end of the month I was able to do 10 Don’t blow out, just continue “practice”

The idea of practicing the movment, doesn't matter what you are doing, has helped me imensly I no longer even push myself even close to fauliur on regular training days and just focus on clean and consice reps, I still do max attempt days but those are like once or twice a month

I was in the army for 9 years, I was an airborne Infantryman with 6 total deployments during my time I know a thing or 2 about push-ups and I would say push-ups atone point will get you big and strong but in the long run all it does is build endurance thats it Think about it,if you curl 40lbs daily at first you'll build muscle once your body gets use to that it will build endurance because you have to do more to get the same feeling aka pump br Overall though push-ups area good way to stay in shape its a base line strength and conditioning excersise

When I was in prison we would do 5 sets everyday no breaks pull up down to push up to dip wait 2 mins do 5 sets everyday and you will get shredded

Its crazy how after reading bruce lee's book, the tao of jeet kun do, i pretty much trained like him and got major resultsnow they have labels and methods for everything smh he was truly ahead of his timenow this stuff is all new to people, keep in mind i was around 12 or 13 Im 33 now and still as ripped as ever!!

At one point I was doing 1000 pushups a day(at least) and about 200-300 pullups and I had no negative effectsin fact my friends thought I was hitting the gym everyday because of how in shape I was still and I was notkeep in mind I switched grip and hand position for both pullups and pushupsit can be very effective
