I would be cautious about using Aspiration Before switching, look at their actual business model and make sure that you understand what they are doing and if you are ok with the level of risk They are NOT fdic/ncua insured (this is very important to know) What they are doing is taking all the deposits they get from their members and putting them in a separate account in another bank (there is a list of those banks on the website) The account at the 3rd party bank(s) IS fdic insured, but it’s insured in the name of Aspiration If Aspiration goes out of business or is less than legitimate, you would need to take them to court to get your money backbrbr(I was in the US banking industry for over 10 years, with a focus in federal compliance and anti-fraud)
