One difference between The Industrial Revolution and this is that the former expanded the production capability of the worker, while robots are actually learning his task and replacing him brPS If you wish to learn more about it, i suggest reading the book "Rise of the Robots", by Martin Ford

I believe more robots in the workforce, especially in fields like medical science will be better for the mankind in long run, as with passing time and research, all we are doing is increasing data, which, as a human is quite difficult to grasp For a high level full body check up, people will go for specialist for each field, while 1 robot/ robotic-system can do it single handily and can even treat better will even less possibilities of error, making it safer for people in the endbrbrWhen computers first came to the market, people believed that they will take away our jobs, but on the other hand, they actually brought with them new kinds of jobs I believe, its actually better if robots will take away the boring, repetitive jobs (I also believe that there will still exist places operated solely by humans or in a semi-robotic manner), this will save so much time for other activities that people may have desired to do, like creative works and can open a new field of job opportunities than now, like what the computers brought to us

The analogy of evolution and the speed in which robots made it to walk is very clever and gives the right idea that humans are only tools of the evolutionary ladder and not the mot important thing in the universe We are here contributing to the evolution of a greater species AI will build its own versions of robots once humans are no longer needed and so on The calculating power of AI is already thousands times faster than us, just think about the machines that AI will produce unfathomable Also the speed of evolution will be greater and greater Radical things may begin to change at a solar system scale or even larger and what for?
