ok, that's some good advice, but nowadays here in Canada the price of electricity had skyrocketed, especially in winter time So a 600 watt or more light is gonna cost more than buying veggies from the store I purchased a 50 watt and i'll get another or two that are around 100 maybe thanks Comment from : Jimmy Cees |

The lights I got aren’t bad they are bright but idk much about grow lights and I looked up the reviews and the bad ones only were about how the product had a crappy timer and turned on and off whenever it wants or the stand was the issue idk why they are having all these issues my timer works great there is also an option to use an app but it’s confusing so I just use the timer on the cord that it plugs in mine is a 200 watt 50 watt for each light for a total of 4 lights that can be moved and adjusted I’m not having any issues I’m just worried now that I got a shitty one I tried getting a full spectrum light that produced what was as close to natural sunlight as I can get but now I’m worried I made a mistake with my purchase because it wasn’t exactly expensive I think I paid like 40-50 bucks on it and it works fine I’m just worried it’s not good enough for my plants but it seems to work without issues and I can adjust the strength of the light at the touch of a button and the timer is a 3-6 -12 hour timer that I can go thru and I can have 2 lights on instead of all 4 if needed did I make a bad purchase?? Lowe’s will sell u a Jiffy lamp for $50 and boast that it’s a T5 That’s a standard household bulb! $50 for a darn table lamp, I bout shouted out at the sight of it Beware of that overpriced basic bulbbrbrIf ur doing a closed indoor garden, u wanna match ur length/width for ur light Don’t get two rectangular lights, get one fit to size Mind ur amps LEDs don’t pull much, but the fan, heat source, and humidity equipment certainly do brbrI was really confused about buying a light and they’re quite pricy for a 2x4 Look, we can complicate things with driver brands and bulb colors, but at the end of the day ur main concern is PAR Do watch videos of actual PAR for ur exact light It’s easy to dim a light, but ya can’t make it brighter brbrIf ur plant’s leaves start to show their underside, ur light is too high or too close Remember that some plants are inherently leggy Just bury the stems to the cotyledons in transplant Comment from : Nobody207 |
