I've been doing push ups for 6 months every other day for 5 sets and I wasn't progressing even though I worked my last set to failure Fuck it, time to do like 40 push ups every hour ten times a day I don't care, I'll force my body to adapt to more reps since it doesn't want to play the nice way

Most kids don't know supersets vs compound sets I see and experience it a lot A superset is back-to-back sets working OPPOSING muscle groups For example: a set of bi's immediately followed by a set of tri's A compound set is "compounding" the stress on one muscle group In other words, doing back-to-back sets working the SAME muscle group He is actually DOING a superset, doing chest (push) followed immediately by back (pull) He's PARTIALLY right, describing the commonality of supersets and compound sets as "2 exercises back to back, followed by rest" He's fun to watch, and I enjoy his experimenting
