what was the specific thermal grizzly pad type? I already know i'm going to use kryonaut paste but my VRAM gets up to 92 so i have to do this thanks for the video dude!

I got pny 3080 Ti ravel i change the backplate thermal pad with 3mm the vram increase about 10-15°c but the core decrease 5-7°c i just change the backplateis the thickness wrong?

I NEED to change pads on a pny 3080, i use thermalright odessy pads 128 wmk , what thickness do i need for the vram ? 1mm or 15mm ? the backplate is less relevant when it comes to thickness, you can do 2/25mm or even 3 on the back, backplate is a bit flexable

i used 3mm back plate, 15mm front and I still have thermal throttling issues My Core temp went down by around 4C Should I go down to 1mm front?

I did 15 on the front and 3mm on the back After putting it back together, fans went to 100 percent and the card is not detected properly in HiveOS :(

Man lol idk if I have a different model than u guys or what Cuz I tried the 1mm on the memory and 15 vrm and the core wasn't even making contact I ended up using 1mm on the vrms and I have some tg-a1250 8mm pads I used and that's got me at 92c memory 53 core 73 hotspot I'm just gonna stay with this cuz omg man that was a doozy

I hate to tell u this but Nvidia does enforce their warranty crap in the USA I tried to get them to send me some pads for an FE card and they said to send it in and if I opened it up I'd void the warranty

I noticed you did not change the thin strips to the outside of the GPU memory modules Are these the VRM pads? I am getting a hotspot temp of 104c but ram and GPU are both in 70's according to HW monitor If I were to change those strips assuming I am correct that they are the VRM, what thickness would I be using?
