I started running over a year now and for anyone who wants to start running i just want to say dont beat yourself up about your distance, speed,and time now just focus on trying to improve and of course try enjoy it!! Running is actually not the best way to get toned since you get hungrier after cardio Eating right and doing some muscle exercises are more effective ^¬^ still, running is great for condition and also the health of the heart 👍🏻 but if you would only do that you could be stuck in a bodyshape that is called "skinnyfat" bc you lack the muscles in belly area etc that make everything look toned and lean ^^ so i would recommend the ppl who want to mainly loose weight to focus on a healthy less sugary diet and add muscle workouts, the rest imo is more of an extra or for issues mentioned above or just mainly for fun and staying active!
