Also plzz help me out I want to run marathons competitively out of college and am currently a high schooler I know for a fact I am slow twitch but I believe I need to be faster and believe an 800 pr of around 1:57 and around a 4:20 mile are preety essential to become an elite marathoner such as urself Do you believe this to be true ? Comment from : Gogo 7575 |
My take away Actually it's always have been Coach Sage's @Vo2maxProductions principal and that's: "Staying Consistent! Staying Healthy! At The Same Time Keep Progressing in Building Mileage Base and Doing Longer Workouts! Thanks Coach! Comment from : Zawir A Farid |

Sage always great information, coaching and probably one of the best running coach in youtube But, i think this channel could benefit from higher video and audio quality production You deserve so much more views cheers Comment from : Hriatchhunga Chhangte |

Nice video Sage Really enjoying your videos relatively new to the channel Had a good year got my marathon down by 12mins (3 races)to 254 off a 118 1/2 mid way through my cycle Would really like to push towards sub 245 over the next 12 months Hoping to keep base mileage high focusing on strength more so Comment from : Sean Pinney |
At your mileage volume you should run under 2:10, but you'll never run that fast as a VEGAN! If you leave that stupid sect "VEGANISM" you're gonna smash it💪💪💪🙂 Comment from : Alex Oblak |
Love your channel, Sage Time for a new camera though Get a newer GoPro for your outdoor stuff and a nice DSLR for your indoor chats and your subscribers will increase for sure The content is great, it just needs the video quality Keep up the good work, man Comment from : kevinjohnthomson |

Love all the responses and stories here 32 y/o, been regularly getting 30 mpw the last 25 almost 3 years now Have had some weeks at 40 but with a young child, my focus is consistency and quality, strength/mechanics 19:12 5k, 1:34 HMtaking another go at the HM tomorrow, let’s see what’s up! In this the long haul as well, I believe my “best” years are still ahead of me, as long as I am running though, I am good! Comment from : DJEclecticVibes |

Man you are way too nice Cracking 6 sub 2:20 marathons is something many just dream of and wont be able to reach When you are pretty much at a pro level the progression of time taken off of your perfomance becomes much harder of course But your approach is still very valid As you said, as amateurs we can begin at level 0 and reach level 10 (our own personal level) improving by a significant margin Currently a 2:53 marathoner aiming to crack 2:50 very soon, and hopefully 2:40 one day Thanks a lot for your insight as always man! Comment from : Luis Villalta |
What kind of camera are you using? There's usually a "Sensor Cleaning" option in the menu (Usually have to switch the camera into Manual to see it) I hope that helps! Comment from : Tyler Walton |
Thanks Sage for all you do to help us become better runners I’m running my first full marathon in 5weeks I have incorporated many of your tips, and talks into my training No matter what happens on race day, since it’s my first,PR! Comment from : Angel Runner |

Take your camera to the dealer and ask for mapping to clean the dead pixels They should have a software to fix dead pixels Otherwise you have to replace the CCD Good Luck! Comment from : kosukeyuki |
haha, well when you run your first marathon that fast (of course relative) it is exponentially harder to improve )) my first was 3:11, second 2:55, so already 16 minutes improvement and thats only in 15 years of running, time to crack that 2:50 now :) Comment from : Tadas Pranckevicius |
super cool man Comment from : Andrethetiny |

The dead pixels you need a new camera Comment from : premierS3 |

I have absolutely zero understanding of this mess, i've won prize money in the UK plenty of times and it's made no difference whatsoever, would anyone care to explain? Comment from : Joe S |

I ran my first marathon last april (using sage running bq plan) and it worked out great as I hit my goal of sub 3h30 with 6 seconds to spare I do struggle with keeping up decent volume year round though and I know it's slowing down my progress Aiming to go sub 3h20 next spring working my way to the 3h marathon as an ultimate goal :) Comment from : AtefBN |
