pete watched your video; two parts with much interest ! i have just buggered up my nut for my 1/2 " 8tpi left hand putting it in a housing for my table on my centec milling machine ! i had to send to china for my threaded bar & nut ,, 90 days later it finally arrivedand i dont want to go through that rigmarole again for the sake of a nut another thing my lathe keeps locking up the slightest bit of dirt and she tightens up so cleanliness has to be the order of the day its a myford [ ; hobby] lathe with only 3 1/2"x 15" no tumbler reverse no power cross feed the chuck screws on so no cutting in reverse or the chuck will unscrew can you make me a nut ? 1/2"x8 tpi left hand acme pleeeeeeeeese regards laurence

Mostly what I do when I cut a thread, but I can't trust the dials on the lathe I use dial indicators instead
