I'm having a weird (I think) issue I haven't worked out since middle school and decided to do push-ups I did 17 max, couldn't go any furtherbrI ran the next day, now I tried to do push-ups again today I could barely get out 5 and barely did 3 sets Do I need to rest more since I maxed myself to exhaustion and not having exercised in several years?

I hate push-ups lol Not because I’m weak, but because I’m a big fella at 260 lbs So starting next month I’m gonna make myself do a 100 push up a day challenge From the knees, and broken up through the day in sets of 20 brIt’s gonna hurt A lot! But I’m excited to see what happens afterwards

Day 1: 6 push upsbrWill try method 1 and come back in 30 days 💪brbrFirst training done ✔ it felt good, the 2' rest is nice Got hard by the 10th set but still doablebrDay 6: second training done ✔brDay 11: training done ✔brDay 12: training done ✔despite my lack of regularity, feels quite easy I'll add one more push-up to the seriesbrDay 22: 3 more trainings in the books but lost track of days I now do 4 push ups per serie instead of 3brDidn't take note on the last trainingsbrbrDay 30: 12 push ups 😄
