I had an event that tore 4 rotator cuff tendons / muscles and my long head biceps tendon, my doctor repaired the rotator cuff but said he could not repair the biceps being it was too frayed He tells me it will “scar-in” and should be fine in the future IYO, will it respond and grow again after it’s healed? It’s been 7 months and I am back in the gym easing into my workouts and actually have to air on the cautious side with my shoulders because it feels great but my bicep tho feels ok it does want to cramp easily Any advice on time, technique and or approach to rebuilding my bicep? At age 19 I could barbell curl 100 pounds and preacher curl 80 pounds At 21 I could curl 90 pounds on the preacher curl I could do standing dumbell bicep curls with 45s The pump I would get was crazy Pretty good I thought, until I saw pumping iron and arnold curling 65s! Hey Ryan, I understand why you push for the “lift more (heavier, reps, intensity) But when I go to the gym I fear to lift like that because I get alot of joint pain, specifically near the elbows and knees Is there anyway around this??
