Hi so I’ve been trying out body recomposition for almost 2 months now Body fat is around 27 so my main goal is to lose fat (I have mainly some belly fat) as well as gain some muscle I’m eating at a caloric deficit of 300-400 and I have lost 4 pounds I’ve been training legs, glutes, abs and arms In the gym with weights But I’ve gained muscle in my arms and legs but my butt seems to have lost a whole inch even though I lift heavy and I’m consistent with workouts I’m also eating enough protein My question is am I losing muscle or butt fat?brAny help is appreciated thanks Comment from : Christina T |

I’m doing a bro split I usually workout for 40-45 mins total 1-3 min rest depending on if I need it I really don’t have time to do 3 full body workouts because I like 4 sets for each muscle which would double my workout time I do 4 sets of 10-12 reps for each muscle group I do that day I’m only on my first week of trying to body recompositions by getting 120g of protein and about 2000 calories a day 5’9 159 lbs Is there anything I’m obviously doing wrong? I must disagree with whats being said here (To a degree)brYou can build muscle and be in a calorie deficit every day for as long as you wishbrYou need protein water and energy to build muscle The water and protein is eaten, while the energy is used from your bodyfat when you Are in a deficit As long as you keep your protein intake high, you dont need any surplus to build muscle Comment from : martin viken |
