Thank you for this video! 🙏But I hope that in future videos, you'll be a "rubitinski" about 3 points: 1 Cold muscles don't stretch; they TEAR A good warmup routine is essential 2 The standing forward bend with the knees straight as taught in yoga is a disaster in the making for the low back discs It ought to be illegal!!! :) I really like resting my outstretched arms on a chair or such support (or my hands resting on my knees) while maintaining a standing forward bend, with knees flexed to whatever extent is needed 3 One other thing I've noticed: when my mind is tense, my ability to stretch becomes quite restricted In reverse, a gentle stretch of various muscles definitely relaxes the mind The muscle proprioceptors seem to tell the brain, "all is fine, big brother, stop worrying!" 🤓 Comment from : Raja_B |

Understanding that the foward fold happens in the hips, not in the lower back is very important and is the tip number one that I would give to anyone trying to learn yoga I just returned to the practice and I am so happg because of that! Comment from : Bonbon |

that was incredible i'm 260lbs and 6'2" tall i'm a big fat man, i have always remained somewhat flexible but i always wondered what was up with my forward tilt why i didn't feel it in my legs as much, i did this and instantly was able to fold almost flat but felt it in my hammies thank you Comment from : 4Slippy |
