I will continue to stand for Andromeda as a decent game and I was genuinely curious what would happen next in it story if they continued it However, as a fan of the series, I will also contend that the first three games set such a high bar of story-telling and characters that releasing even a 'decent' game after the enjoyment of the trilogy by default makes Andromeda a bad gamebrI've gone back and replayed Andromeda and enjoyed it, but only once Compared to the dozen-plus replays of the entire trilogy over the years, that's hogwash Since Andromeda released, I've played the entire trilogy more times than it, but it's still a decent game I would hope in the future an MEA2 would come out with learning from mistakes and giving proper time and oversight to mold it, but EA still exists and BioWare is not the same studio in any respect so for anything Mass Effect I'm touching it with a ten-foot pole first

I'm one of those people who really want to see this game remade from scratch as if this failure never took place At least the narrative premise is, in my view, the perfect way to continue from the original trilogy I also feel sorry for all those people who had so many great ideas and worked so hard only to see it all undone by mismanagement

I never was able to finish this game due to the bugs when it launched l, but I recently replayed it and 100 it I have to say (this will be a controversial opinion) I really loved this game I don't think it's a good mass effect entry, but I do think it is a good game I had a lot of fun with it, and I'm sure I will play through it again in the future

It wasn't a bad game Maybe I was lucky and thus didn't suffer the glitches that many have had, maybe I was so thirsty for a ME game that I squinted through the bad parts of the writing (too few aliens), maybe it's because the ending of ME3 dropped the overall rating of the entire trilogy in my eyes (and killed my will to ever come back to it), but I can't say I didn't have fun with Andromeda If only the story wasn't a huge letdown, it would have gotten a way better rating

Despite all this and the reviews and the lesser engine the team had to use because of department budgets, this game drew me in deep to the story line way more than Destiny 2 I am about halfway in atm, and I love it! Yes, the plot is somewhat average, but the superb cinematic music score with very nice cut scenes and fantastic combat mode, makes for a very fun game that tips it's hat to the 1st Mass Effect game when comes to exploring other worlds I say job well done despite all

You know what's funny (well kinda) Greed, money grab, relaying on a human naivety, determination (this includes lying) will always be easier than hard work Some businesses are actually doing great (or quite good) with this strategy Morals aside it's understandable (Personally I will probably be against these kinds of efforts) Hard to admit it but some people will fall for, fuel it, praise it with their zeal and unimaginagle hope and will support it to their very end That is a fantastic bussiness opportunity, you just cannot ignore And a bussiness model, lots of entitled tie wearers will just love unconditionally A moderate "success" considering that the ones "on the top" (let just saypeople that get all the fincancial benefits at a minium cost and effort) are bassicaly getting all they want Time after time after time after 😜

This game and destiny 1 is what did it for me in terms of modern gaming I stopped giving a shit and now I only draw my attention to very specific titles by specific developers This game however, specifically fell victim to modern real world sjw's, 3rd wave feminism and activism It did not add anything of substance to the game and instead wasted development time and money It would've been more interesting to explore the culture, politics, etc in a different galaxy and experience different beliefs & viewpoints from the aliens Also the game was just straight up boring at times and the bugs before getting patched really took you out of the vibe and atmosphere the game was going for at times The only strength this game had is the combat gameplay, it was better than all the previous games in some areas

One of the things I hated about Andromeda was that they got rid of the class system from the previous games and just gave you every ability to use but still limiting you to only three at a time It completely removed the squadmate dynamics from the previous games You no longer had to choose teammates by how their abilities complimented your own (even though everyone just picked their favorite characters[usualy Tali, Garrus and the Krogan])brbrAnd as for squadmates They completely removed customizing your team You couldn't change out their weapons or armor, you couldn't even change just the color of their outfits Even Mass Effect 2, which had the least amount of customization in the series still let you change your squadmates outfit colors (after completing their loyalty missions)brbrAnd also this is just me, but I didn't like the gameplay The gameplay was solid don't get me wrong, but it didn't feel like Mass Effect ME3's gameplay was the best in the series, for the series

I tried it last year on sale and really wanted it to be good But it ran like shit and made my pc fans sound like jet engines Even after using recommended settings and below Its a shame, i really enjoy visiting "flopped" games years after when theyre fixed and on sale, this one just wasnt fixed What I did see for the brief seconds I was in the game looked good other than the face animations

I'm a fan of the Mass Effect series I played the remastered trilogy and now I play Andromeda I already have 50 hours It is an open-world game, very complex and very detailed graphics It's different from the Trilogy, but it is a good game The Trilogy is a combat story and Andromeda is an exploration game I recommend this game to everyone

Revisited Andromeda after playing LE It feels familiar, but totally different gameplay mechanics and with open world As long as I approach this game without expectations from the original trilogy, I thoroughly enjoy my time playing Andromeda I still miss the linear story based fashion of the original trilogy, though It allowed less busy work and more story/character development

If the same team did the combat, why is it so bad? Jump jet are fun, but the enemy variety isn't there; switching classes on the fly would be a neat feature, if I ever had to change tactics Internal strife between Edmonton, and Montreal; again, or still; it's the same excuse as ME3 However, while the story is "Ghostbusters 2016"(Mass Effect poorly retold), unlike ME3, Ryder is actually important to the plot
