Gym closures early on in the Pandemic really made me rethink my training I decided after 15 years of consistent weight training to try bodyweight training I really simplify my home workout routine by focusing only on a few key movements I do these exercises 3 to 4 times per week My routine is basically push ups, inverted rows, squats, planks/mountain climbers and some band work for rear delts I also focus on cardio work too Love it!!! Love this! I try to do 80 of volume from the basics (bench press, incline press, OHP, squats, deadlifts, pull downs, pull ups, low rows) and 20 accessories and finishers I have dropped the idea that it should be all basics with no accessories but you can get sidetracked by spending too much time on them Would certainly recommend that most people spend less time on bicep curls and other mostly cosmetic exercises Comment from : Bill King |
